Angus cattle, which is used in this recipe, are known for their significant muscle content and classed as higher quality produce compared to regular beef due to increased marbling (amount of intramuscular fat). Angus beef is also lower in saturated fat, rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals.The recipe includes:

Story Behind the Product
What sets the Superfood 65 range apart is authentic stories of provenance and animal welfare. Our supplies, GA, only source directly from farms and fisheries they know and trust, and they constantly audit our suppliers to ensure the animals they use in the recipes are well looked after.

To ensure they keep the fresh meats in perfect condition, they collect them from farms and fisheries they know and trust using their own refrigerated transport, keeping the meats at a chilled 4°C throughout the journey. When it arrives at Plocks Farm, our manufacturing site of excellence, they visually check the quality and send samples to our state-of-the-art laboratories for testing.

Once the lab technicians have done extensive testing and given the meat their approval,
the meats are cooked at a gentle 82°C in GA’s dedicated Meat Kitchen. Just like a slow
cooker, gently cooking the meats for longer at a lower temperature protects the protein,
keeps in all the goodness, and enhances the flavours. 

When the meats have been cooked to perfection, they mix them with an assortment of dry ingredients like sweet potatoes, superfoods, and the freshly prepared oils they extracted from the meats during cooking. The mix is then formed into perfect kibbles ready to be packed.
