Book Loose Lead 5 Week Training Course
We run two Loose Lead sessions per week. The first is on a Monday between 4:00pm - 5:00pm, which is perfect for this working shifts. The second is on a Saturday afternoon between 12:30pm - 1:30pm - which is ideal for those working during the week.
These Loose Lead Training sessions are open to dogs of all ages. There is the option to book onto the weekday course, or the weekend course. Please note: you may only attend one session per week. For example, if you book on the weekday course, you attend the day courses for the rest of the five weeks.
Amy is our on-site trainer and dog wellbeing expert from R Dog who runs the classes. If your dog pulls on the lead to try and get ahead, or to get to something more exciting - then this is the ideal class for you.
What Is Loose Lead Walking?
Loose lead walking is when your dog walks on a slack or loose lead, which means there is no tension in the lead. Tension creates pressure which is applied to both you and your dog when they pull. It’s uncomfortable and potentially painful, particularly if you have a strong dog. A pulling dog can make your arms hurt, disturb your balance, and can make the walk tiring and less enjoyable for both you and your pooch. Your dog can learn to walk beside you with loose lead training.
What Does The Training Cover?
With loose lead training, you can teach your dog to be more focused on you and to feel more relaxed on their walks too.
